Warmer days ahead
After seeing temperatures in the 40s Monday morning, which is well below average, we’re going to warm back up as we head through the week. We’ll be dry for several days, but a chance for rain comes back as early as Thursday night.
Tuesday is going to be another quiet day with plenty of sunshine and a light breeze. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s to the lower and middle 80s. The middle 80s is where our average high is normally at this time of year!
We won’t start off quite as cold Tuesday morning as we did Monday morning, but there will still be a chill in the air. We’ll quickly warm up into the 80s by early afternoon.
High pressure is going to keep most of the rain away for much of the week. However, a few showers and storms may make it into SW Nebraska by late Tuesday afternoon.
