Midday Interview: Friendship Home of Lincoln searching for volunteers

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Friendship Home of Lincoln, which works with survivors of domestic violence, is looking for volunteers to help with the Safe Quarters event in October.

The shelter is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

So if you’re looking for a volunteer opportunity before then, Director of Development Dani Jurgens said the shelter is always looking for extra hands.
