Storm chances by the end of the week
Showers and storms will start to become a little more likely as we head into the end of the week and into the weekend. We’ll even cool off a little! But we warm right back up next week.
Thursday will start off in the lower and middle 60s and warm up quick, into the lower 90s by the afternoon. The wind will be light, the dew point will be low, and there’ll be plenty of sunshine.
Most of us will be a little above average Thursday. Highs will range from the middle 80s to the lower 90s.
A cold front will start to move into Nebraska Thursday evening. This will give the western half of the state a chance for rain.
That frontal boundary will make it into central Nebraska Friday giving just about all of us a chance for some much needed rain.
