Heating up with a few storm chances
It’s going to be well above average (upper 80s) the next couple of days with highs in the 90s. We cool off as we head into the weekend, a little, then warm right back up next week. Storms will be possible on and off and will be very spotty in nature.
The video above shows what the radar may look like as we move through Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Strong to severe storms are possible.
Because of the threat for severe storms, there is a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in place for the western half of the state through 10:00pm CDT.
Rain is possible with these storms, but you’ll need to be under one of the storms to get any substantial rain.
We dry out and warm up on Wednesday. It’s going to be hot! Highs will be around 10 degrees above average.
All of us will be in the 90s on Wednesday. Upper 90s for some, lower 90s further west.
