46th Annual Camp Creek Threshers show hosted in Waverly
WAVERLY, Neb. (KLKN) – The 46th Annual Camp Creek Machinery and Threshing show was hosted by the Camp Creek Threshers and consisted of activities for people of all ages.
The event is hosted each year and features a scavenger hunt for the kids, an antique tractor pull, and more.
This year’s event also showcased Allis Chalmers tractors in the main tractor park and a Worthington Steam Air Compressor that used to power the equipment of the historic Havelock District.
In the kids area, kids could play on the playground or the petting zoo, as well as check out the kiddie tractor pull.
“I’ve started, in the information booth, kiddie scavenger hunt, and activities that they go around and get stamps from different locations.” Said Chris Plies, the Information Committee Chair. “So just having the kids, getting that next generation involved in seeing what goes on out here as opposed to what’s on the video game side.”
The famous Camp Creek Main Street provides a flash to the past and features a restaurant, ice cream, and a variety of other activities.
