LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A woman’s accused of running off after going to the bathroom, while in custody at a Nebraska hospital.

Police say Adak Derkeng Majak was taken to Grand Island Regional Hospital after getting arrested for domestic assault.

We’re told she went to the restroom on Sunday afternoon, and then slipped away using different doors.

GIPD says Majak was found at Husker Highway and Highway 281, where she tried to get in a vehicle that stopped for the traffic signal.

Majak is also facing charges for resisting arrest and escaping official detention.
