Bennet Fire & Rescue purchases new equipment with funds from barbecue

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Over the weekend, Bennet Fire & Rescue hosted a barbecue to raise money for the station.

That fundraiser brought in nearly $10,000.

With the money, BFR bought eight new masks and two thermal imaging devices.

The department wants to thank everyone who came to show their support.
