Group of teens assaulted, robbed 17-year-old walking in Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for a group of teens that robbed and assaulted a 17-year-old boy in Lincoln on Sunday.

Around 9:30 p.m., the victim was walking near 27th and N Streets when he was approached by a group of teens.

Police said the group, which consisted of five to six teens, attacked the boy and drove off in a white SUV with his iPhone and a left AirPod.

Later on, officers tracked the phone to 44th and L streets, where it was found lying on the ground, according to police.

The AirPod, worth about $50, is still missing.
