LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Grand Island man was arrested Thursday after an investigation into a sexual assault of a child in Boone County, the Nebraska State Patrol says.

Back in May, the patrol received a report from a victim of a sexual assault that happened on multiple occasions in Boone County between 2012 and 2015.

During an investigation, troopers found another victim.  Both victims were in their early teens at the time of the assaults, the patrol said.

The suspect, 35-year-old Jesse Voichahoske, had since moved to Grand Island.

On Thursday, investigators found Voichahoske and took him into custody.  He was arrested on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault and three counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child.

Voichahoske was lodged in the Boone County Jail.  The patrol said additional victims or anyone with more information can call investigators at 402-370-1024.
