LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln skaters are getting an opportunity to strengthen their skills at the “Roll up, Roll out” camp hosted by The Bay.

It’s available to kids between 4th and 12th grade.  The camp invites skaters to explore the fundamentals of skateboarding.

Attendees can learn skills from how to drop-in and ollie to understanding how to creatively link tricks together.

While flashy moves get a lot of attention, they’re not the only thing campers walk away with.

Program Manager Letura Idigima told Channel 8, “A lot of our kids leave the camp saying they want to come back. Not only because of the things that they’ve learned, but because of the relationships that they’ve built with the other skaters and our skate instructors.”

You can learn more about The Bay as well as upcoming events on their website.
