Man, two teens injured in shooting at Omaha park, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people were injured early Monday morning in a shooting at an Omaha park, police say.

Around 3 a.m., officers were sent to N.P. Dodge Park and found a 13-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.

Later on, a 14-year-old – who had multiple gunshot wounds – approached officers, according to police.

Both teens were taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police said a third victim, 20-year-old Kevin Jackson, later arrived at a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
