Four baby opossums rescued after mother dies on Nebraska road

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska Wildlife Rehab is sharing another “wildlife hiding in car” story after a marmot’s long ride to Lincoln.

The nonprofit said a man found four little opossums this week.  He said they were clinging to their mom in the middle of a road after she was killed by a car.

As he was bringing them to the wildlife rehab, one of them hid in insulation behind the back seat.

West Center Automotive, a shop in Omaha, volunteered to help free the little girl after her brothers were admitted.

The rehab said it wasn’t long until all the siblings were snuggling together.
