Lincoln Fire & Rescue dog becomes member of Nebraska Task Force One
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Dodger, a Lincoln Fire & Rescue dog, is now a member of Nebraska Task Force One.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, LFR said Dodger was certified by Nebraska Task Force One to help in search and rescue missions.
Dodger was trained by the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation and has worked with handler Adam Schaaf since July 2022.
When the duo isn’t training, Dodger helps with station tours and keeps up morale at Firehouse 15.
He is one of four dogs working at LFR, according to the Facebook post.
People can see more of Dodger on his Facebook page.
