Flights canceled and suspended as Hilary hammers the U.S.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – National airlines are suspending flights in Southern California because of Hilary, which has weakened to a post-tropical cyclone.

Southwest suspended all flights until Monday morning into Ontario International Airport.

Frontier Airlines won’t resume flying into OIA until Tuesday.

The airport is located in San Bernadino County, 40 miles east of Los Angeles.

According to FlightAware, over 1,000 flights were canceled and over 4,000 others were delayed Sunday.
