Both vehicles totaled, fire hydrant ripped out of ground in Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two vehicles collided with such force on Tuesday that one of them took out a fire hydrant.

This happened at 33rd and Randolph streets just before 7:45 a.m.

The hydrant was seen stuck under one of the vehicles, which went over the curb and onto a lawn.

Lincoln Police said two people were taken to a hospital.

Both vehicles were totaled, according to a police spokeswoman.
