Dog helps sniff out drugs, guns and a machete in southeast Nebraska traffic stop
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Richardson County deputies seized drugs, guns and other weapons from inside a car in southeast Nebraska on Saturday.
In a Facebook post Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said its dog, Freya, was called in to help a deputy during the traffic stop in Falls City.
The vehicle had been pulled over due to “fictitious” plates, according to the sheriff’s office.
Inside, deputies found meth, marijuana, prescription drugs, paraphernalia, two handguns, a machete and brass knuckles.
Three people inside the car – Steven Ingram, Cassie Ingram and Ryan Bost – were arrested on suspicion of several charges, including possession of meth.
