Recall Alert: kids beds, cordless vacuum cleaners and kids bike helmets
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Zipadee Kids is recalling over 7,400 of its Convertible house bed frames and Montessori floor beds. The spindles used on the recalled beds are spaced at a distance that creates a serious entrapment hazard that can lead to strangulation and/or death to children. The design of the bed allows a child’s torso to slip through the rail opening, but will not allow their head to pass.
If you have the recalled bed, officials are asking you not to resell or donate them, instead throw them away. It is a violation of federal law to sell or distribute recalled products.
Aiper is recalling over 22,000 of its Pro Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaners. When the charging cord is plugged into the device without the adapter and/or directly into the charging point on the machine, the battery can overheat and short circuit. The company says this poses burn and fire hazards.
If you have the recalled product, contact Aiper for a free replacement of robotic pool cleaner. The company is contacting all known purchasers directly.
Over 200 multi-purpose kids bike helmets are being recalled. The impacted products are sold exclusively on Amazon. The recalled helmets do not comply with the coverage, positional stability, and labeling requirements of the CPSC federal safety standard for bicycle helmets. The helmets can fail to protect in the event of a crash.
The company is contacting all known purchasers directly. If you have the recalled product, you’ll receive a refund and be asked to destroy the helmet by cutting off the straps.
