More than $14,000 raised for family of teen killed in a Nebraska UTV crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A fundraiser for the family of an 18-year-old killed in Sunday’s UTV crash has already surpassed $14,000.
The GoFundMe includes a message saying Jacqueline Torres “was full of life, love, and sweetness. Always uplifting the room with her smile, and cheerful personality. She was just starting her college journey. She had a close bond with her loving parents and cherished her younger brother as her best friend. She loved to dance, play sports and spend time with her family.”
Torres died after being ejected from the UTV in Hall County around 1:20 a.m.
Officials said the driver lost control west of Grand Island, near Old Potash Highway and Monitor Road.
The investigation into Sunday’s crash is ongoing.
