No troopers injured in I-80 crash involving three Nebraska State Patrol cruisers
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska State Patrol says an argument between a man and a woman on Interstate 80 ended with a crash that could’ve been a lot worse.
This all began in Keith County around 3 p.m. Saturday, when the fight was reported near Big Springs.
The patrol said three troopers were dealing with the dispute when a Honda Civic drove onto the shoulder and hit a cruiser.
The impact knocked it into the two other cruisers on scene.
No one was inside the patrol vehicles. Troopers rushed to help the Honda driver, the patrol said.
The driver was taken to Ogallala Community Hospital by the Big Springs Fire Department.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and none of the troopers were hurt.
