Two people taken to hospital after four-vehicle crash in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two people were hospitalized after a crash in Lincoln on Wednesday, police said.

Four vehicles collided at Normal Boulevard and 52nd Street shortly before 6 p.m., Sgt. Jon Sears said.

One of the vehicles went off the road, according to a Channel 8 reporter on the scene.

A female was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, Sears said.

A male was also hospitalized, according to police. The extent of his injuries is unknown.

All others involved were treated at the scene.

Sears said two of the vehicles are not drivable and will have to be towed from the scene.

Normal was shut down from Myrtle to 52nd streets for a few hours.
