Man caught going double the speed limit on O Street in west Lincoln, deputy says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man led a deputy on a chase early Saturday after he was seen speeding on O Street in west Lincoln.
Around 2:50 a.m., a pickup truck sped past a deputy near the intersection of Sun Valley Boulevard and West O Street.
Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin said the truck was going 80 mph, which is double the speed limit.
“Even at that time, 80 to 90 mph on West O in that area is just plain dumb,” Houchin said.
Eventually, deputies stopped chasing the truck.
Authorities later found it parked at a home near North Coddington Avenue and West S Street.
The driver, 21-year-old Dillon Siebe, was arrested on suspicion of felony flight to avoid arrest.
A passenger was also arrested on an unrelated warrant, Houchin said.
