Man arrested in downtown Lincoln shooting, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man is facing several felony charges in a downtown Lincoln shooting earlier this month, police say.

On Sept. 10, around 3:20 a.m., officers were called to Antelope Valley Parkway and O Street on a report of gunshots.

Officers later found 16 spent shell casings in a nearby alley.  Police said there were no reports of injuries or gunfire damage.

On Friday, 30-year-old Traves Nevels was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including using a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
