WATCH: Man stole pickup truck while owner was inside southeast Lincoln gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man who drove off with a truck at a southeast Lincoln gas station last month.

The theft happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Kwik Shop near 48th and Calvert Streets on Sept. 20

Police said the owner was inside the store when he noticed a man get into his pickup truck and drive off.

The owner tried following the thief but eventually lost sight of him.  The truck has since been recovered.

Police are also looking for a person who was trespassing at a home near 73rd Street and Rokeby Road on Sept. 28.

Security video captured the man, who was wearing gloves and a mask, peeking through the back door.
