No one injured in crash between farm truck and train in rural Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A train struck a farm truck Wednesday along a rural Nebraska highway, officials said.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. at the crossing near 35th Road and Highway 30, just southwest of Columbus, the Merrick County Sheriff’s Office said.

A Union Pacific spokeswoman said no one was injured.

Crews are cleaning up the grain that was spilled from the truck.

An investigation is ongoing.
