Nine aces power Nebraska volleyball to sweep of Northwestern

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska volleyball recorded nine aces Wednesday night on its way to a sweep of Northwestern.

The No. 2 Huskers won 25-15, 26-16, 25-21 in Evanston, Illinois.

Merritt Beason led with 13 kills, while Harper Murray added 10.

Murray also had the most aces, four.

Lexi Rodriguez recorded nine digs.

Nebraska will face No. 1 Wisconsin at home on Saturday. The match will air at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
