Loaded septic truck tips over after swerving on rural Nebraska road
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Authorities near Grand Island didn’t waste time responding to a tipped-over septic truck on Monday.
In a Facebook post Thursday, the Merrick County Sheriff’s Office said the truck was near Second and I roads when it crossed the center line.
The driver then swerved to avoid oncoming traffic and went into a ditch, where the truck tipped over.
Officials said the driver had minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
