Man beaten, robbed of $300 by group that was armed with a knife, Nebraska police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 33-year-old man says he was beaten and robbed near Pioneer Park, and right now his attackers are still in the streets.

That’s according to the Grand Island Police Department, which reports three black males took the victim’s phone and wallet full of $300.

This happened on Saturday around 7:45 p.m.  The man also told authorities one of his attackers pulled out a knife and threatened to kill him.

GIPD hasn’t released any details on who they’re looking for.

Police say this case is open.
