One dead after ‘law enforcement activity’ shuts down I-80 west of Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – One person is dead after “law enforcement activity” on Interstate 80 on Monday.
UPDATE: One killed by authorities after chase in Seward County, sheriff’s office says
Authorities shut down part of Interstate 80 in Seward and Lancaster counties around 3:30 p.m.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation said I-80 is closed from at least mile marker 388, just north of Pleasant Dale to mile marker 392, just west of Lincoln.

NDOT attributed the closure to “law enforcement activity.”
A Channel 8 reporter saw officials placing a body in a bag.
Authorities were also searching the grass.
NDOT said at 8 p.m. that all lanes of Interstate 80 were reopen.
