One killed in multi-vehicle crash south of Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was killed Saturday in a multi-vehicle crash south of Lincoln.
The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. near Southwest 14th Street and Highway 33.
An SUV clipped the back of a semitrailer, and the driver lost control, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said.
The SUV then crashed into a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two others were taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
People are asked to avoid the area as deputies continue to investigate the crash.
