Icy roads blamed for rollover crash on rural northeast Nebraska highway
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – One person was injured Saturday in a rollover crash on a rural northeast Nebraska highway.
The Stanton County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened two miles west of Pilger on Highway 275.
The driver lost control due to the icy road conditions, went into a ditch and rolled over, according to the sheriff’s office.
He was taken to a hospital in Norfolk. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
The sheriff’s office said the man was cited for not having a valid driver’s license or vehicle registration.
The vehicle is considered a total loss.
