Two semitrailers damaged in fire at west Lincoln construction company
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two semitrailers were damaged late Tuesday night in a fire at a construction company in west Lincoln.
The fire was reported around 10:45 p.m. at Shanahan Brothers Construction near Northwest 56th and O streets.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue spokeswoman MJ Lierman said a semitrailer was fully engulfed in flames.
An adjacent rig was also damaged by the fire. It’s unknown what started the fire.
Lierman said one semi is expected to be a total loss.
