LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was attacked by his neighbor Tuesday morning at a Grand Island apartment, police say.

Around 1:15 a.m., officers were sent to the apartment near Piper Street and Old Potash Highway on a report of a disturbance.

A 39-year-old man told officers that his neighbor pushed their way into the apartment.

The neighbor then hit the victim with a hookah pipe and left with one of his “adult beverages,” police said.

An investigation is ongoing.
