Lancaster Shriners group kicks off annual ‘Feztival of Trees’
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Roca-based Masonic group is holding a holiday event week; the Feztival of Trees
The Sesostris Shrine, located near Highway 77 and Saltillo Road, is currently filled with decorated trees.
The trees are decorated with different themes including Barbie, the Huskers and the Grinch, and attendees can purchase a raffle ticket for $1 for a chance to win a tree.
Some of the trees are valued at over $2,000 with the gift cards and presents that come with them.
The Feztival began Saturday, and is scheduled to continue daily until Nov. 25 – with the exception of Thanksgiving. Admission is $2, and free for children under 12 with an adult.
“So the goal is to get as many families coming out seeing what we have to offer and making sure that their start to the holiday season is magical,” Don Schleining, co-director of Sesostris and Blue Valley Shrine Club said.
More information can be found on the Sesostris Shriners’ website.
