Nebraska linebacker Nick Henrich suffers season-ending ACL injury

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska linebacker Nick Henrich will miss Friday’s matchup with conference rival Iowa.

Henrich suffered a season-ending ACL injury during overtime in last week’s loss to Wisconsin, Matt Rhule said Wednesday.

“Nick’s one of those guys; he’s given us everything,” Rhule said.  “And so obviously, that was brutal.”

In 10 games this season, Henrich has recorded 42 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and two sacks.

Last year, the Omaha native only played in five games due to a season-ending injury.
