Multi-vehicle crash stalls traffic at south Lincoln intersection

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A four-vehicle crash at a south Lincoln intersection slowed traffic Tuesday afternoon.

The crash was reported around 3:10 p.m. at 14th Street and Old Cheney Road.

A van going north on 14th tried to turn left on Old Cheney when it was struck by a southbound Toyota Corolla, according to a police crash report.

Both of those vehicles then hit two vehicles that were stopped at a red light, police said.

No one was injured in the crash, according to police, but the van and Toyota were totaled.

The driver of the van was ticketed on suspicion of failure to yield.

Eastbound Old Cheney was shut down while the crash was cleaned up.
