Near normal on Monday, with an unseasonably warm week ahead
We kick off the new work week with dry and seasonal conditions. A warm front will send temperatures above normal starting on Tuesday. Small chances for precipitation arrive later in the week that will then take us into the holiday weekend.
Monday’s highs struggle to reach the upper 30s. Temperatures will be cooler compared to what we saw on Sunday, but typical for mid-December.
Following a cold front temperatures will drop to near normal, the cool down is brief as we warm above average the rest of the week. Highs will reach the upper 30s and lower 40s across the SE.
Monday wind gusts will range from 20-25 mph in the morning and afternoon. Winds slowly diminish heading into the evening hours.
The seasonal temperatures don’t stick around too long, we’ll see a gradual warm up with highs back into the 50s by Thursday.
