LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska volleyball’s Hayden Kubik and Caroline Jurevicius entered the transfer portal this week.

In a post to Instagram on Tuesday, Kubik – the sister of former Husker Madi Kubik – announced her decision to leave Nebraska.

“I’m so grateful for all the experiences and people I’ve met along the way and I wouldn’t trade them for the world,” she wrote.

The sophomore from Des Moines, Iowa, played in nine games this year, finishing with three kills and six digs.  She has two more years of eligibility.

Jurevicius, a freshman outside hitter, is entering the portal with four years of eligibility left, Huskers Illustrated reported.  She redshirted this year.

The Cleveland native was part of the 2023 class of recruits, which included Harper Murray, Andi Jackson and Bergen Reilly.

She was the No. 17 overall recruit in the 2023 class, according to PrepVolleyball.com.
