LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A person was killed Thursday in a multi-vehicle crash near Omaha.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said the three-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of 204th and Harrison streets.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

At least one other person was injured in the crash, which involved a Gretna ambulance.  A patient was on board at the time of the crash.

The sheriff’s office has not released the identities of those involved.

The agency’s accident reconstruction team is still working to “piece together a complicated sequence of events,” the sheriff’s office said.
