Kids and adults alike enjoy snow day in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Snow canceled classes at Lincoln Public Schools on Monday, and that brought kids and adults alike to Pioneers Park for the sledding slides.
The snow was the perfect type for going fast down the hill, once enough people went down the ramp to pack it.
But there weren’t just sledders; there was also someone snowboarding.
Levi Leon works in construction but had the day off.
“It’s a little too snowy for some construction at the moment, so I figured we’d go have some fun,” he said.

Leon said he like snowboarding because he can try to catch grooves and guide himself more than just aimlessly going down the hill.
