WATCH: Man drives off after backing into car at west Lincoln gas station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for a man involved in a hit-and-run at a west Lincoln gas station earlier this month.

Just before 8 p.m. on Jan. 6, a man went inside Casey’s near Northwest Sixth Street and Cornhusker Highway to buy beer.

He got into his black Dodge Ram, backed up into a car at a gas pump and drove off, according to police.

The pickup truck has military plates, red tow hooks, custom wheels and fender flares.

Police are also looking for a man who fired a gun near 52nd and Fremont streets on New Year’s Eve.

A witness reported hearing three gunshots and seeing a man in a silver Dodge Ram holding a gun, police said.

Investigators found one 9 mm casing, but nothing was damaged.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
