Police looking for woman who started small fire at northwest Lincoln home
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are asking for the community’s help identifying an arsonist spotted in northwest Lincoln last year.
On Dec. 8, officers were sent to the area of Northwest Sixth Street and Laramie Trail on a report of a possible arson.
A woman was spotted walking away from a home where a small fire had been lit, according to police.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue crews extinguished the blaze. It’s unknown how much damage the flames caused.
Police are also searching for a thief who stole a credit card and used it at several stores in north Lincoln.
The credit card fraud was reported on Nov. 2. Police said the card was used at Tractor Supply, U-Stop, Walmart and two restaurants.
Security video at U-Stop showed the thief leaving in a red Hyundai Sonata.
