Well above average temperatures continue
Well above average highs have been the norm for several days in a row now. As we head through the first week or two of February, those warm temperatures look to continue!
Precipitation chances start to increase over the weekend. This will mainly be a rain event.
There is a Dense Fog Advisory in place for much of central and western Nebraska through Friday morning.
Visibilities will drop to zero at times in and around this area.
Tonight the temperatures will drop, but not very far. We’ll see lows in the lower 40s.
We warm back up into the middle 50s by Friday afternoon.
There won’t be a lot of wind for Friday, but clouds will be increasing.
Friday night into the weekend, rain will become possible. The best chance for rain will be in central and western Nebraska.
Snow is also possible, but it’s expected to stay in the panhandle!
