Very mild and windy through Thursday
Temperatures will be very warm for the next couple of days, but the wind will be part of the reason why.
A strong south wind will be gusting to around 40 mph the next couple of days, helping to warm us up. We cool back down by the weekend.
First, the good news. Highs will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s for Wednesday!
We’ll start off well above average early in the morning. Actually, we’ll start the day above our average high of 38 degrees!
The reason we’ll be so warm? The wind. Wind gusts will range from 30 to 45 mph during the day into Wednesday night. It will try to continue into Thursday.
It’s not only for Lincoln, either. Most of the state will see a very windy day.
The wind sticks around through Thursday then starts to taper off on Friday. We start to cool down, as well.
