Winter comes back for a visit
After highs in the 60s (!) on Wednesday, winter is going to come back for a brief visit. Cooler air will make it’s way in and stick around for part of the weekend.
Along with the cooler air, we have a chance for some snow!
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for northern Nebraska Thursday into early Friday. 2-4″ of snow will be possible in this area.
Snow starts up late Thursday morning in northern Nebraska, then slowly makes its way south and east during the day. It’ll make it into central Nebraska by Thursday night, then into SE Nebraska overnight Thursday into early Friday.
After it’s all said and done, most of southern Nebraska will see a trace to 1″ of snow. 1-2″ possible for most of northern Nebraska with 2-4″+ possible in far northern and NE Nebraska.
We cool off quite a bit, too. Low 40s on Thursday and Saturday, with just the 30s on Friday.
