Bikers rev up and show off their rides in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A bike show in Lincoln this weekend is presenting over 300 motorcycle displays.

The Sandhills Global Event Center is hosting a motorcycle show where riders can show off their bikes.

It’s the 38th annual show put on by District 2 of the American Bikers Aiming Toward Education of Nebraska.

There are bike displays to look at, vendors to purchase merchandise from and much more.

All ages can participate in a variety of events, including face-painting and other activities.

Chanda Gerdes is in the Lincoln chapter of an all-female biker group.

“We’re hoping to get more ladies around Lincoln to be informed and know that we’re here,” she said.

The show is in town Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission is $15 for adults and free for children 12 and under with an adult.
