Nebraska softball’s Sydney Gray named Big Ten Co-Player of the Week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball’s Sydney Gray was named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on Monday.
Gray’s offensive output helped the Huskers to four wins over the weekend in the Troy Cox Classic in New Mexico.
The Arizona native went 5 for 16 with three homers and 10 RBIs. She also had a .875 slugging percentage and a perfect fielding percentage.

Gray last earned the co-player of the week award in February 2022.
Nebraska is back on the road this week, traveling to Cathedral City, California, for the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.
The Huskers open the series against San Diego State on Friday.
