Nebraska City man accused of DUI after crashing into Casey’s

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A Nebraska City man tried evading arrest Friday after crashing into a gas station, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office says.

Deputies had received a report of a vehicle speeding and weaving through traffic on Highway 75.

The driver, 29-year-old Marco Barcenas, crashed into Casey’s near Highway 75 and Rock Bluff Road, the sheriff’s office said.

By the time deputies arrived, Barcenas had run away.

Eventually, authorities found Barcenas a few miles south and took him into custody.

He was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including driving under the influence and felony criminal mischief.
