Ace Hardware raises over $3,500 to keep families cool

Westlake Ace Hardware Donates Fans

LINCOLN, Neb. — West Lake Ace Hardware raised nearly 3,700 dollars for the Salvation Army. It all went to purchasing new box fans, which will be given out to the public. With hotter temperatures on the way, these fans will help keep many local families in need.

Major Mark Anderson with the Salvation Army said, “we are going to be able to go straight out to individuals who are in need of being a little cooler. It’s getting a pretty hot so these fans are going to make a big difference.”

Those in need can stop by the Salvation Army and ask to receive a fan.
