Lincoln Littles raises $685,000 during annual campaign
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Community Foundation announced the recent campaign for Lincoln Littles raised more than 685,000 dollars to the early childcare development community.
The nonprofit aims to provide support for tuition assistance for families and childhood development programs in the community.
This comes as three childcare centers in Lincoln have had to close its doors since November.
“With childcare costs at an all-time high, these funds will allow us to continue to fill the critical need of affordable, high-quality early care and education for working families,” Executive Director Anne Brandt said.
Since 2019, Lincoln Littles has raised nearly 4.7 million dollars for childcare development initiatives.
Funds raised from this yearly campaign will directly impact families in Lincoln.
