Many chances for precipitation ahead
We need the moisture, that’s for sure. Good news is that there’s quite a few chances in the coming days. Temperatures, however, will struggle.
There’s a small chance for some spotty mixed precipitation spots Thursday morning, then a small chance for rain on Friday. The chances increase Saturday and into next week.
Above shows the spotty mixed precipitation chance early Thursday. Most of us will be dry, but it’s still a chance.
There’s a small chance for some light rain early Friday (above) but most of the precipitation will stay to our northeast.
A better chance for rain moves in Sunday morning with rain possible in eastern Nebraska and mixed precip to the north.
Showers and storms will be moving through Sunday night, as well. Snow will mix in to the north and west.
The system slowly moves east Sunday night into Monday.
Monday night into Tuesday morning, snow will eventually move east into eastern Nebraska.
Accumulating snow is possible Sunday into Tuesday, but so far, models aren’t looking at anything significant.
